This blog, I dedicate to my dear friend who has been in life for more than 15 years...and surprized me many times with his extracurriculur actvities. I'm not going to take his name...and the blog address may or may not have to do anything either with the person, but I'm sure whoever have known me for a month or two in his/her life would easily understand, who I'm talking about :-)
I list down few of his extracurriculur actvities and I'll keep writing more on the milestones/nuisances, he has created over a time span of 15 years...in and around my life.
- Table tennis - A fabulous player, played at state level....but when he talks about it, he looks Olympian gold medalist.
- Sleep talking - It may be problem for many...but he considers it his natural talent. He can only challenge any one to do sleep talking or do it better :-)
- Boast about any game performance - He could challenge anyone in any game...and humiliate you as if you never knew a game better...until you play with him and get a success. Even after this, he may find out few excuses, why he lost and may challenge you for another encounter...
- ....
Overall,
He is a middle class gentleman, a very dear friend of mine with few fallacies (which we all have in one or the other form)...but his temperament makes it interesting among friends and hence, I think it should be worth writing or interesting to portray him here through blogging. At the same time, I would not allow myself to write something which could hurt him because if he us hurt, I'm deep down hurt myself. I would just like to write on the incidences which are publicaly known in friend circle and have been discussed told to many of my new friends...may be, next time, I don't tell the story to new friends and just mention the blog address to visit ;-) Hey, nice idea !
I'm going to distribute it to few of my friends and I would only go ahead if I get encouragements in comments on this blog....or else, I may loose the interest and I'm sure, you all will miss some good reads...that's like boasting about myself....but you know, I'm my dear friend's friend !
Encourage me....to let me go ahead :-)
Dr. Pritam Lakhmani is a gentleman in true sense though he may not have been to any gentlemen's club. And why only Pritam, we should write about all of our friends who have been a witness of our lives. :-)
ReplyDeletethat may follow....it's just a start and who is better than him to start ;-) Don't you agree ?
ReplyDeleteI wish you couldn't have mentioned his name :-(
ReplyDeleteIts a nice initiative to write about someone you know from a long time...so i think u can pull some more person in this chain....as far as this blog concern...i must say ..nice written !!
ReplyDeleteFrankly, I could not get the idea behind this initiative..If its a narration about one's friend, the title should have been something else.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the names are concerned, its not difficult to guess given the blog's name and the author's name.
Also as I myself would not appreciate being written about myself in such a public forum I refrain myself to post anything about him.
